A DU-mounted matched pair of Fafnir MM212K angular contact bearings — 60 mm bore in the metric callout, but built to imperial tolerance tables at the Torrington, Connecticut plant before the Timken acquisition. The DU suffix means back-to-back mount with preload set at the factory.
Fafnir stopped stamping its own name on bearings in the mid-nineties, and truly matched pairs from the Torrington era are getting hard to find. These went into Bridgeport, Hardinge, and Monarch tool-room lathes across two American generations.
Both cages are phenolic, both races are polished to ABEC-7 equivalent, and the preservative is still holding. Ship as a pair; do not separate.
