A Rexroth 4WE10 pilot-operated directional control valve, size 10, spring-centered, 24 VDC solenoids. Common enough new — but the D3 spool with the specific H-configuration land geometry has been superseded twice since the eighties, and older German injection-molding machines were built assuming this exact behavior on tool-open and injection-forward transitions.
The box is genuine Rexroth from the Lohr-am-Main plant, date-stamped 1991. Both coils read within spec, the poppet moves freely, and the manual override is intact. Seals are NBR and have been kept indoors and dry throughout.
If you've been running a valve with the modern J-spool in a machine that expected an H, you know the pause we're talking about. This will make it go away.
